More Resources and Links

I've added a few more links and resources to the workshop website since May 11.

Today I added a link to a webinar on the cost of textbooks in which Cable Green is a speaker. I've also added a couple more links to the page on Open Textbooks. One of them is Readability.com, the website that Monique mentioned during our discussion on eTextbooks.

Finally, I received an entry code for an account with OER Glue (beta). I haven't accessed it yet but as soon as I do, I'll post some comments.

Thanks for taking the three question workshop evaluation. I received a lot of good, helpful feedback!

Workshop Overview

This hands-on workshop is designed for faculty who want to find and use online, open resources in their courses. It is based on a workshop I gave two years ago but it has been updated to include the Open Course Library Project.

By the end of the workshop, faculty will have identified at least two or three resources to use in their teaching and be able to share them in a variety of ways with their students.

Housekeeping: If you want to use your own laptop, connect to the SCC Cafe. No login is required but I've been told this will be slower than the desktop computers.
